What donations fund
- Research trips to the reading rooms of the Romanian National Archives to identify and collect unpublished nominal archival materials.
- Paid collaborations and incentives for experienced people who can professionally transcribe unpublished historical documents.
- Administration and infrastructure costs needed to keep the database continuously available, including hosting and software services.
- New platform features for researchers, genealogists, and history enthusiasts: image galleries for unpublished sources, cemetery and grave databases, repertoires of church servants, an onomastic catalog, and other research tools.
Other ways to contribute
Supporting Genealogica does not have to be financial. Materials, time, corrections, and sharing the project in local-history communities can matter just as much, and validated contributions may receive bonus credits.

You can provide clear photos of parish registers, civil-status records, censuses, catagraphies, nominal lists, or other sources useful for genealogical research. You can also propose publications relevant to localities.
